|Usage||Emitting a signal when one of the inputs is on.|
|"Compares two input signals to generate an output signal based on a logical operation."|
The XOR Gate has two inputs and one output. The gate will give a signal if one and only one input is on. This item can be used to make complex circuitry such as coded doors, and other coded items. XOR Gates can be useful if somebody is triggering a pressure plate, but you don't want them to. If there is another current running to the XOR Gate, the pressure plate will have no effect. It is also possible to insert two wires to the connection point for one wire.
A = Left input, B = Right input;
0 = Off, 1 = On
The XOR Gate acts as an either/or control. Example: The output controls a usable item such as a conveyor switch. The two inputs control lever switches so that either lever can operate the conveyor. This is good for controlling doors on either side of a wall.
